Central banks and digital currencies – the global annual DMI symposium

After a year of comprehensive research by central banks across the globe on the benefits and limitations of digital currencies, OMFIF is hosting the annual Digital Monetary Institute symposium on 11-12 May. The symposium expands the discussion on practical and theoretical aspects of central bank digital currencies, stablecoins, cryptoassets and the future of money. In 2021 the first symposium brought together 115 central banks and 2,000-plus policy-makers, bankers, technology experts and investors.
